The  areas surrounding the Bocas Beach House offer almost endless choices for nature enthusiasts and water sports freaks!  Here's a short list of things to do here:

* Snorkel one of the many reefs (walk from the house or island hop)

* Ride a bike out to Bluff Beach (about a 20 minute ride from the house)

* Hire a boat and driver for the day to go island hopping

* Walk to La Coralina for lunch and swim at a beautiful beach (20 min.)

* Visit a bat cave (20 minute cab ride and ten minute hike)

* Go bird watching in the rain forest (on our island or any other)

* Watch one of four species of sea turtles lay their eggs on the beach

     (seasonal activity just 30 minute walk or 5 minute cab ride)

* Surf any number of reef or beach breaks throughout the islands

     (Paunch is a 20 minute walk, contest quality surf!)

* Read a book in your hammock by the sea

* Go horse back riding (Isla Cristobal - 20 minute boat ride)

* Visit the Ngobe Bugle Indian village in Salt Creek (30 min. boat ride)

* Watch the Dolphins play at Bocatorito, year round! (20 min. boat ride)

* Fly up to the highlands for the day to visit a coffee plantation

* Go fishing (on your beach or on a boat!)

* Learn to sail or take a sailing tour click here for info

* Take a Spanish language class

* Rent a kayak at Playa Mango Resort (2 minute walk from the house)

* Go for a "Flying Boat" ride (Playa Mango Resort also!)

* Dine at any of the numerous great restaurants in Bocas Town

* Rent a Jet Ski or Wave Runner (available in town)

* Take a guided tour to San San Wetlands to see manatees and sloths

     Inquire at Starfleet Scuba for the manatee tour - this is an all day

     trip that includes lunch.
