Your hosts, Patrick & Kristine Korth, first came to Bocas Del Toro in April 2005.  Their dream was to find an affordable place to retire in the tropics, away from the crowds and the traffic.  After months of research, they discovered the benefits of living and investing in Panama.  While many retirees have chosen the cosmopolitan lifestyle offered by Panama City or the cool, misty mountain atmosphere of Boquete, Patrick & Kristine yearned to be by the sea.  Their dreams came to fruition when they happened upon Bocas Del Toro in the Caribbean.

After a whirl-wind tour of the Bocas Archipeleago during that first visit, Patrick & Kristine fell in love with the town of Bocas and the surrounding beaches and islands.  They found the perfect situation when they met Phil Beckett who had plans to build a small development called "Villa Dos Sueños" or "Village of Two Dreams".  As a result of this chance meeting, Patrick & Kristine contracted with Phil to build two beautiful beach houses in the Big Creek area, just a ten minute drive or boat ride from the conveniences of town, but far enough away to enjoy the serenity of the sea and rain forests. 

Now you can enjoy one of these fine homes, either as the new owner or as a temporary occupant as you seek out your own slice of paradise!  Some people who come to Bocas end up buying property the first time they visit (like us!)  Others prefer to spend a few months renting to get a feel for the place before planning their own dream home in the Tropics.

If you are the adventurous type and prefer to build your own house, enjoy the Bocas Beach House at Villa Dos Sueños as your temporary home while you endure the building process.  Or, you can just bring your toothbrush and move right in by purchasing one or both of these truly turn-key homes!
